Clover pricing, checked November 1, 2026
Clover's restaurant plans start at $135 a month on its own site, and card fees come on top. Here are the plans, the rates, the hardware, the contract terms and a worked month with every number shown.
Plans
A restaurant pays $135 to $354 a month on Clover.com, depending on service style and hardware. Each price below is the Restaurant Growth software bundled with the named hardware.

If tapping a card at the table is the point of buying Clover, the honest full-service starting price is $239, not $179.
Per transaction
Clover charges 2.3% + 10¢ when a card is tapped, swiped or inserted, and 3.5% + 10¢ when it is typed in. Its FAQ describes typed-in as card-not-present, like an online sale or phone order.

Our arithmetic from Clover's published rates, rounded to the cent. The fee is a percentage of the amount charged, so tax and tip on the card raise it. Clover also lists Rapid Deposit, which pays out within minutes of a sale, at a 1.75% fee.
The 3% line on the receipt
Because Clover offers a surcharge program. It adds 3% to eligible credit card sales so the business can reduce its processing costs. It is the merchant's decision, not a charge every Clover business makes.
On a $35 credit card order, 3% adds $1.05 to the guest's bill. Clover's in-person fee on that order is $0.91. Before you turn it on, weigh how guests will read that line.

Worked examples
These are two made-up restaurants, not client results or industry averages. Swap in your own order counts and the arithmetic still holds.
Neither total includes tax, paid apps, kitchen displays or anything a reseller adds. A rate just 0.1 point higher on Example A's in-person sales adds $39.60 a month, which is $475.20 a year.
Subscribe or buy
Over the full 36 months, buying costs less on all six bundles. The buy option pays for itself around month 19 to 21, because the monthly fee drops.

Resellers
Clover says its website prices are only available on Clover.com. Citi, PNC, Wells Fargo and more than 3,000 other financial institution partners sell Clover too, and their terms can differ.
One public example is Gravity Payments' Clover plan sheet. It lists Restaurant Growth at $89.95 for the first device and $19.95 for each extra device, plus a $5 monthly Clover platform fee and 3¢ extra per key-entered transaction. That is one seller, not a rule for all of them.
The contract
The main catch is that the commitment outlasts a bad month. Clover's own FAQ spells these out, so read them before the price.
Hardware
Clover devices run from $199 for the Go reader to $1,899 for Station Duo. The bundle prices above equal these list prices added together.

Extras
Clover also advertises a $450 statement credit. It requires a 3-year contract and $10,000 or more in card transactions in your first four billing cycles. The offer expires December 31, 2026, and credits must be approved by January 31, 2027. Do not let it decide the contract.
Where Orderitto fits
Often, no. Orderitto is not a POS and does not replace anything on this page. If all you need is a way to take online orders on Clover, Clover's own no-fee ordering costs less than an Orderitto plan.
Orderitto earns its place when you want your own branded mobile app, loyalty, promo codes and automated marketing on top of Clover. Clover integration is listed on the Orderitto Pro plan, at $1,299 for setup plus $249 a month, with no per-order commission on direct orders.
Card fees do not settle the choice. Orderitto restaurants handle Stripe directly, typically at 2.9% + 30¢, which is $1.32 on a $35 order. Clover's typed-in rate is $1.33 on the same order. The two match at about $33 and Clover costs less below that.

On Clover.com, quick-service plans cost $135, $185 or $245 a month for 36 months, with hardware included. Full-service plans cost $179, $239 or $354 a month. Card fees are charged on top of those prices.

Yes. Buying up front removes the 36-month subscription, but the software fee stays. Clover lists $89.95 a month on its entry bundles and up to $129.85 on the largest full-service bundle.
Clover's FAQ says subscriptions are non-cancelable and ineligible for refunds. It also says a subscription can be paid off at any time, and can be broken during a buyout or an upgrade.
Clover says the prices it shows are only available on Clover.com. Banks and other sellers set their own terms, and Clover says contract terms and termination fees can vary by provider. Compare the written quote line by line.
Clover's pricing FAQ says its devices cannot be used with other payment processors. Treat the hardware as tied to the Clover account, and include that in any plan to leave.
Clover lists no-fee online ordering as included on the restaurant plans compared here. Online orders are still card-not-present sales, so use the 3.5% + 10¢ typed-in rate when you model them.
